Ducks & ChickensMuscovy ducks (sometimes marketed as a "quackless" duck) are the largest of all the ducks in the world. They are very social and we use these ducks for hatching and eating eggs and Meat. They have stronger-tasting meat — sometimes compared to roasted bee,. but lean when compared to the fatty meat of mallard-derived ducks,
Cayuga Duck are one of the hardiest of the domestic duck breeds. They can obtain most of their diet from foraging when given good areas to explore for food. Cayugas can lay 100 to 150 eggs per year that can be used for general eating and baking purposes. Eggs are initially black in color. Geese & TurkeysSebastopol Geese- The Sebastopol goose have a quiet and pleasant disposition. They originated in southeastern Europe, the region around the Black Sea. They were named after Sebastopol, a Russian city from which they were imported to the United States. Their soft, fluffy feathers on the back, wings, and tail are attractively spiraled, and are so long that they nearly touch the ground. The curled feathers prevent flight making them easier to confine but easy prey for predators.
Slate and Bourbon Red are a couple of the turkeys breeds we raise for meat and hatching eggs. These heritage breeds don’t grow as fast or as big as Broad breasted but they have great flavor.
